For our SPDIF 75 ohm cable, we use Teflon PTFE as the dielectric and a high-quality Mumetal shielding. The outer sheath is made of basalt, a volcanic mineral whose properties can potentially reduce the effects of triboelectricity compared to synthetic materials, leading to less static noise induced in the audio signal.
And of course, we apply a mineral shielding with shungite powder, a mineral known for its ability to absorb and neutralize high-frequency electromagnetic fields, thereby reducing interference and improving sound clarity. Its conductive properties also contribute to the dissipation of static electricity, limiting unwanted noise.
